It's been decided that we're definitely going for a Secret Santa theme this month, as it will allow everyone (hopefully) to participate confidently! The more the merrier, people. So... since we have a few members that are more comfortable with their writing than they are with their art, we're going to have to incorporate that somehow, hmm...

TO ENTER:

Please send me a note titled "SECRET SANTA" so that I know EXACTLY what you're entering. Include a list of things that you would enjoy receiving for your Secret Santa gift so that the person who gets your name has an idea of what would be good to do for it. Also include a list of references if needed, as I will be sending the list to your Secret Santa and they might not be familiar with all of what you have on the list.


PLEASE REMEMBER that this means that you will be required to make something aswell. Not a one way street~ :3

Please have your entries in by SATURDAY, DECEMBER FIFTH so that I will have time to draw names. Gifts will be due to be given directly to the person whose name you got during the entire Christmas week (anywhere from SUNDAY THE 20th to SATURDAY THE 26th).

We had a number of members offer to create prizes for the last contests and were hoping for a good number for this one as well. If you wish to create a prize, please send me a note titled "PRIZE POOL" that indicates you are willing to help out; PLEASE DO NOT DO SO UNLESS YOU ARE TOTALLY COMMITTED. Hopefully I can convince Spongie to do first prize again...? Again: DO NOT SEND ME THIS NOTE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING, and remember, you still have a contest entry to work on! uwo If you wish to help with prizes and do not want to enter the contest, that's still fine, but the more people that enter, the funner it is!

Once the deadline is reached, I will open the comment sections on the CLUB DEVIATIONS for approximately one week (tell me if you think it should be longer) and you will be allowed to vote for two entries (three if there are more entries than I expect).

Members that wish to submit something, send a note titled "SUBMISSION" and then put a link to the submission inside with information such as the title of the piece or a vague description. You could add a comment to the club profile, but it'd just be more efficient that way. Also, please put that you grant the club permission to resubmit the piece in the Authors notes BEFORE submitting it because of dA policies. Your work will be linked directly.
